A modern, low-to-the-ground bunk bed – we’ve found it!

MY PLACE SINGLE BUNK bed A modern, low to the ground bunk bed weve found it!

Just when you thought most of the coolest bedroom furniture for kids was everywhere but here in Australia, think again! This awesome low bunk bed is as close as your nearest Domayne store!

Domayne is selling this uber cool My Place Single Bunk bed and I think you’ll agree that it creates quite a stylish impact! Not just a great bunk beds for kids, it’s a statement piece indeed for any child’s bedroom. The modern beds are available in white, charcoal and, for the brave, orange and green.

The My Place bunk bed is a no fuss, streamlined, low-lying design that’s fabulous for younger children, the top bed is high enough to be fun but not so high that it triggers fears of falling out after falling asleep. And what little person wouldn’t love sleeping in the cosy nook of the bottom bunk?

There’s a heap of matching furniture options in the My Place range so you can fit out your child’s bedroom from floor to ceiling if you so desire.

The My Place Single Bunk bed is priced  $1299 or the king single version costs $1499, both are available at Domayne.

  1. When I clicked the link, the bed was marked down by $300 and is about what all other kids bedroom furniture costs.

The idea is good, the My Place range looks nice too I actually noticed the ad in the Brisbane Kids magazine the other day :)

  2. I would wonder about the longevity of a bed like this. As a kid, my bunk bed became my adolescent bed. I loved it. This doesn’t even go past the dido rail, so it’s not gonna last long. Too expensive for such a short-term bed. Unless you had twins, i couldn’t imagine the first child getting much use with the second child before needing a second bed. For my money – Pass.

  3. I personally think it’s a fab alternative to the traditional single bed with trundle underneath to use for the occasional sleepover guest. The bottom bunk could be turned into an awesome reading/playing nook if not sharing with a sibling!
