Khloe with a “K”

Khloe’s about to welcome a baby girl (the baby’s father is NBA player Tristan Thompson) and she says her sisters have helped throughly prepare her for the new life that lies ahead.

“I’ve been so lucky to be in the labor and delivery room for every one of my sisters’ deliveries,” Khloe wrote on her blog, Khloe With A “K”.

“It was such a blessing that they were so easy and fast, and my sisters made it seem like there’s no pain involved. I’m praying I have the same type of labor.”

“A lot more real”

Khloe admits that the latest Kardashian-Jenner birth was the one that really struck a chord, because she was carrying her own baby when Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi was born.

“I’d say the most significant experience was when I watched Kylie give birth,” Khloe wrote. “I was six months pregnant, so it was a lot more real because I knew I’d have to do that in three months.”

“It became a lot more memorable and I definitely took in every single thing that was happening.”

“I don’t think it’s smart”

It’s clear that something that had seemed a little bit abstract or far from her own life experience – the birth of Kim and Kourtney’s babies – came sharply into focus as Kylie gave birth weeks before Khloe was due.

“You don’t miss a beat when you know you have to do it soon! But having said that … I don’t think it’s smart to watch another person give birth when you’re pregnant, LOL.”

Perhaps it might seem like there’s a danger of overthinking or over-researching this transformative experience, but we’re sure that everything will fall into place and land where it should, once Khloe is in labour and birthing her own baby. She really seems to take everything pretty brilliantly in her stride.

“I don’t feel like I need to prepare for my birth by freaking myself out,” Khloe revealed. “I’ve seen over eight births live and in person. Women were made to do this! It’s a very natural experience.”

“Of course I’m a little nervous to go into labor but I’m trying to not overthink something that literally happens all the time.”

Khloe’s baby is due any day now. We’re almost as excited to meet her as her famous mum, we think!
