Shay Mitchell has been sharing her pregnancy journey via her YouTube channel and social media, and her latest update on how she’s coping is very surprising.

“I am literally wearing a full on diaper”

Admitting she is peeing way, way, way more than she’d expected, Shay told her stylist Monica Rose and a couple of other assembled assistants that adult nappies are the only way she’s getting through.

Yup. We were surprised too.

“Honestly guys, I’ve never known that somebody could pee as much as you do when you’re pregnant,” the Pretty Little Liars star told her wardrobe team.

“I swear to God, in a half an hour, I went to the bathroom probably about 22 times last night to the point where I was like I’m f*cking wearing diapers.”

Unzipping her jeans and flashing what lies beneath, Shay proved that she’s not even mucking around.

“I am literally wearing a full on diaper,” she says, revealing the fetching undergarment. “It gets so annoying going to the bathroom all the time!” she explains.

As her confidantes tried to process this information she noted that she had “peed a couple of times” already and advised them to back off if they saw her standing very still and concentrating very hard.

You do you, boo!

Shay’s YouTube followers fully supported her nappy solution.

“Not even joking, Depends Women’s Disposable briefs were my best friend throughout both of my pregnancies and after lol no shame girl, no shame,” one woman wrote.

“The diaper solution is quiet practical. I am support you, Boo. Do you, honey!” another fan posted.

“Hahahahha I love how you pee yourself and don’t care about it! QUEEN” someone else posted and honestly there were a tonne of comments commending her for not sugar-coating pregnancy.

Shay and her partner Matte Babel were slow to reveal this pregnancy explaining that last time she was pregnant it “didn’t go as I had hoped for, and it was extremely difficult.”

“The first time that I was pregnant last year, Matt and I hadn’t been planning, it happened and we were really excited about it,” she said in another clip of YouTube.

“I was like 14 weeks, at that point, I had no idea the percentage of miscarriages. When it happened I was just, completely blindsided by it.”
