Dancer and actor Jenna Dewan broke the very exciting news that she is expecting a baby back in September. It will be the second child for this popular mum – she and her ex-partner Channing Tatum are parents to a six-year-old daughter named Everly.

“Beyond overjoyed”

Jenna’s new baby daddy is actor Steve Kazee (who some people may know from his role in the excellent dramedy Shameless) and the pair have been together for around a year and a half.

It feels like only yesterday that Jenna split up with Channing, but it’s clear that everyone has happily moved on and Steve seems super lovely.

Announcing their pregnancy the couple admitted they were absolutely stoked to be making a family together. They seem very much in love.

“We are beyond overjoyed and couldn’t be happier to be expanding our family!” they told People magazine at the time.

“The most nurturing man”

Fast-forward to now and the expectant mum is singing Steve’s praises from the hilltops. Or at least from the pages of People magazine.

“Steve is amazing,” Jenna said. “He’s the most nurturing man. He really is supportive and communicates well with me throughout the process. He’s always down for a foot rub and grabbing me bean burritos.”

When quizzed about daughter Everly’s thoughts on having a sibling, Jenna says everyone’s all in.

“He and Evy are really excited about the addition to the family,” she explained.

“It’s another baby, more love. We’re also reading a lot about adding a sibling and how that’s going to effect Everly and how we can help with that transition for her and make it exciting. We’re like a little unit. It’s been so far, so good.”

Endorphins for the win!

Jenna’s now on the cusp of meeting this baby and says that although she’s been craving “salt, chips and bad food” she’s also trying to stay active.

“I’m near the end, so I’m about yoga and walking rather than the strenuous activities,” she told People.

“But I like to stay active … being active helps my mind stay sane and helps my endorphins flow and feel good. I did as much as I could, when I could.”

Let’s take a peek at her pregnancy so far …

Disclaimer: I’m aware this is basically an @jennadewan fan account now. There is a reason for that. That reason is that I constantly watch with absolute awe as she has carves her path through this world and all the while she does it with a level of grace that we should all aspire to. From starring as a mother to her beautiful daughter and our soon to be child, to her lead role as a partner in my life, a published author of #gracefullyyou, to her starring turn on @soundtracknetflix, and to the premiere of @flirtydancefox tonight she never fails to inspire and amaze me. So yes…I’m proud. Incredibly. I want everyone to know about her because she is a gift to this world in so many ways. So thank you for visiting this fan account. Happy premiere day my love! ❤️
