Hilary Duff is pregnant – and has been hiding her baby bump for weeks!
Hilary Duff has been cutely supporting her sister Haylie through her pregnancy so this news that she too is expecting a baby has come out of (adorable) left field.
“A little princess”
In what can only be described as a brilliant case of girl code, Hilary waited until her niece Lulu had arrived and her birth had been announced, before quickly spilling her own baby beans.
“Guess what guys?!” Hilary posted on Instagram alongside a shot of her and husband, musician Matthew Koma. “@matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!!”
It has obviously been very hard to keep a lid on this big news!
Dad-to-be Matthew shared the very same pic, captioning it: “We made a baby girl! She will be as beautiful and sweet as her mother … @hilaryduff. another incredible chapter begins.”

This will be the first child for Matthew and a second for the former Lizzy McGuire star who has a six-year-old son Luca with her ex-husband Mike Comrie. (Hil’s sister Haylie has two daughters, three-year-old Ryan and newborn Lulu.)
Never forget …
Fans are obviously delighted by this news, which comes after they momentarily thought Hilary was pregnant back in January when she wore a baby bump for a film role. We now know that this was foreshadowing what was to come and that nobody is happier than Matthew and Hilary!
Hilary’s followers quickly weighed in, asking when she was due and suggesting the best names for the little girl she is expecting. The list of monikers goes something like this:

LOL. While it’s been almost fifteen years since Lizzie McGuire’s most recent season, it’s very clear that fans will never forget – and that Lizzie means a lot to them.
Ch-ch-ch-changes
Hilary’s since made a name for herself with a different role – that of the Kelsey Peters – the lead character in the very popular series Younger. Fans of Lizzie have followed the star into this new role, with the show just being renewed for a sixth season. No mean feat in these competitive days of free-to-air television VS cable VS streaming.
Huge congrats to Hilary, Matthew and Luca on the new little girl they’ll be welcoming into their lives later this year!
