What has impact of the COVID pandemic been on early learning?

The coronavirus pandemic has meant that learning, from kindergarten to university, has been interrupted at various times. There’s been a lot of talk about the impact that has had on high school and university students. But what about our youngest learners? Children in childcare have had their early learning programs on hold at different times as well.

Annie Jorgenson is childcare centre, G8’s Melbourne-based area manager. G8 commissioned YouGov to conduct research with around 1,000 of their parents. Annie talks about the findings, including where parents feel their children missed out during lockdowns.
