Lacey Filipich understands what it’s like to have small children and feel you have no choice when it comes to your money.

But Lacey herself was financially independent by the time she had her first child.

That is, she no longer needed a wage to support herself.

And while she was able to do this because she started young, she says it’s not too late for parents with young children.
