Helpline: Moving beds, thumb sucking and babies who want to be held
Watching babies and children grow and develop is delightful, but there can be some hurdles along the way. A toddler can decide that day naps are no longer ‘their thing’. A baby who was sleeping through the night can start waking every hour.
It’s at times like these that most of us could do with a little help, which is where Mothercraft nurse Chris Minogue comes in. Chris has been helping parents for over thirty years, and there aren’t many situations she hasn’t had to deal with.
On this episode of Helpline that includes:
- An 18-month-old refusing their day nap
- Helping a six-month-old sleep without being fed to sleep
- How to move a two-and-a-half-year-old to a big bed
- Whether it’s okay to keep a three-year-old in a cot
- A thumb-sucking four-year-old
- A two-year-old who refuses to wear their glasses or brush their teeth
- An eight-week-old who wants to be constantly held
- A two-year-old fussy eater
- A 16-month old who keeps hitting his mum in the face
