Women need more information about birth injuries

When parents-to-be attend antenatal classes, they’re meant to be given enough information to arm them for the birthing suite, and the first days of having a baby at home.

But Amy Dawes, Executive Director and co-founder of the AustralasiaBirth Trauma Association, says there needs to be more information about birth injuries that occur. 

She explains what women really want to know before they give birth.
