Women need more information about birth injuries
When parents-to-be attend antenatal classes, they’re meant to be given enough information to arm them for the birthing suite, and the first days of having a baby at home.
But Amy Dawes, Executive Director and co-founder of the Australasian Birth Trauma Association, says there needs to be more information about birth injuries that occur.
She explains what women really want to know before they give birth.
