When  Dylan Lenox shared photos of himself with his very adorable daughter Willow – and her other dad – their situation was even more gorgeous than it seemed at first glance.

“We are not a same sex couple”

Dylan explained his family situation on Facebook with a series of cute images and some very heartfelt words. Not gonna lie, it had us tearing up with its wholesome positivity!

“Our daughter Willow,” Dylan wrote in this sweet tribute to his family. “You may never know how your love has changed us all.”

“The guy to the left is myself (Daddy, Daddy Dylan or Bonus Dad), in the middle is of course our Princess Willow and the guy to the right is David (Daddy, Daddy David or biological Dad). No we are not a same sex couple, but we do share a daughter. David is Sarah’s ex husband and I am the fiancé.”

Apparently Willow’s mum Sarah Megnon captured the wee girl being kissed on each cheek by her dad, David Lewis, and her soon-to-be step-dad, Dylan. And golly we’re glad she did.

“We do share a daughter”

These family photos show how, despite David and Sarah separating, they’re determined that Willow’s biological daddy remain a very important part of the family. It’s an admirable goal and these guys seem to have totally pulled it off.

“We have molded ourselves into one unique family,” Dylan explained in his post, “only for the sake of our children to know the power of love.”

“Not only did I gain a daughter, I gained a brother and a best friend” he continued, thanking Sarah for her role in preserving these strong bonds.

“It takes a village”

Commenters on the post could not get enough of this surprising situation.

“It takes a village to raise these kids,” one follower suggested.

“More families need this in their life. Love not discord,” another Facebook-er wrote.

“You guys are an example of maturity, putting the kids first and at being amazing dads,” someone else commented. “Wishing you a lifetime of happiness. Lucky, lucky Willow.”

“Your daddies love you!”

Dylan says that putting the kids first and creating strong blended families pays dividends, sparing kids the drama of conflict and demonstrating how to be open-hearted.

Sweetly calling David “a part of my life”, Dylan says Willow’s other daddy will always be welcome in their home.

“Willow Grace,” he writes  “you are loved by so many people in this world and your Daddies love you!”
