Happy news for fans of Wiggles Emma Watkins and Lachy Gillespie
Fans were broken-hearted when it was revealed that popular Wiggles Emma Watkins and Lachy Gillespie’s marriage had ended.

But life has moved on, as have Emma and Lachy, and it seems that everyone has adjusted nicely just over 12 months since they split. (Well, everyone except a handful of fans.)
Emma confirmed this week that she’s now in a relationship with her friend of four years, The Wiggles musician Oliver Brian.
“Yes, I’m in love and I feel very excited to tell you,” she told Stellar.
“He’s a very calm and thoughtful person and I’ve always been interested in his mind and his take on life, and his morals.”
Some people don’t get it
Emma says she and Lachy remain very close, and that has proven confusing to certain The Wiggles’ fans.
“Some people don’t understand it, they want us to be together – particularly the parents,” the yellow Wiggle told Stellar.
“The children don’t care. The parents wanted to fall in love with that fairytale and that’s what we’re rebuilding now.”
Lachy’s also found love again. He’s dating the brilliant ballerina Dana Stephensen, a senior artist with The Australian Ballet.
Dana’s mum to a three-year-old boy and has also worked with The Wiggles recently.
A few fans were not quite as happy. They had their hearts set on a Lachy and Emma reunion and commented as much.
“I still love you @lachy_wiggle you will always be my soul mate and always will be in my life and I so proud of you for following your heart and I still miss you and @emma_wiggle together and I still love you forever and always miss you so much,” one wrote.
“I was hoping he and Emma would get back together but am happy he has found happiness again,” someone else posted.
But other fans realised that Emma and Lachy are just FINE with their break-up and that them both finding new happiness is something to be celebrated.
“So glad you and @lachy_wiggle are happy,” one fan wrote.
“Oh thank goodness. You deserve this after going through your break up so publicly. Be happy,” another commented.
“Yay, Lachy! So happy for you! You bring great joy and most certainly deserve it,” a follower posted.
“We watched Dana in the regional tour of Coppelia she was a beautiful dancer! Good to see you happy Lachy,” someone else wrote approvingly.
