Meghan and Harry’s baby Archie is now five weeks old and we’re hearing lots more whispers about life at Frogmore Cottage and the nanny the royal couple have chosen for their little boy.

Up all night

A report from ET confirms what we already knew – that Meghan’s mum Doria who flew to London for the birth and early postpartum period has now returned to her LA home.

Doria’s departure signalled that the newest royal nanny was now hitting her strides.

“I’ve heard from very reliable sources that the new nanny who has been appointed by the Sussexes has had to sign quite an extensive non-disclosure agreement,” Katie Nicholl (who ET describes as a royal expert) said.

“Meghan’s been up in the night nursing, feeding on demand every few hours. Apparently, he’s a hungry little baby.”

Special anniversary bling

Katie also weighed in on the new ring Meghan was seen sporting at Trooping The Colour on the weekend.

“Beneath her engagement ring and her wedding band is a new eternity ring,” Katie confirmed. “Some people speculated this was a push present, but I think in fact it is a first anniversary present.”

Meghan and Harry celebrated their first wedding anniversary on 19 May and gosh that year has gone quickly and been eventful, hasn’t it?!

Katie speculates that we might catch a fresh glimpse of Archie this weekend, as the UK prepares to celebrate Father’s Day.

It will be Harry’s very first Dad’s Day go-around, and it’s thought that – as the couple did on Mother’s Day – they may celebrate by sharing a brand new photo on the Sussex Royal Instagram account.

Today The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined The Queen and members of The Royal Family at the annual Trooping the Colour, to celebrate Her Majesty’s official birthday. Trooping the Colour orginated from traditional preparations for battle and has commemorated the birthday of the sovereign for more than 250 years. In the 18th century, guards from the royal palaces regularly assembled to “troop" colours or flags down the rank, so they could be seen and recognised by the soldiers. In 1748, it was announced this parade would also mark the Sovereign’s official birthday. Trooping the Colour is performed by regiments of the British and Commonwealth armies for The Queen’s birthday parade, allowing them to pay a personal tribute to Her Majesty. Today over 1400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians came together on Horse Guards Parade in London in a great display of military precision, horsemanship and fanfare. The parade concludes with a 41-gun salute fired by The King’s Troop, following which The Queen leads members of The Royal Family back to the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the Royal Air Force flypast display. Baby Archie’s christening

Royal fans are looking forward to details of baby Archie’s christening and the announcement of the little boy’s godparents.

It’s thought that the other royal children’s christenings might provide some clues over Archie’s big day.

Prince George was christened at three months old. Princess Charlotte was two months old at her christening and young Prince Louis was christened at two months of age.

“If this length of time is applied to baby Archie, it is likely his christening will take place between Saturday, July 6 and Tuesday, August 6,” Express UK suggested.
