The future king is pretty regular and down-to-earth, it turns out!

Low-key royals

While much is made of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s push for a more private and ‘normal life’ for their family ahead of the birth of their first child, Duchess Kate and Prince William have been achieving this as best they can for a solid five years.

The future king and his wife are parents to five-year-old Prince George, three-year-old Princess Charlotte and almost one-year-old Prince Louis, and they’ve been guarding their children’s privacy carefully since wee George turned up.

They’ve kept their kids away from the media’s prying eyes with surprisingly few unauthorised photos making their way to the press.

George attends the co-ed Thomas’s Battersea school in south London, where Charlotte will join him in September.

“George is really happy at school,” a parent at the school told Vanity Fair. “His nickname is PG.”

“He’s very popular and has lots of friends, and there’s very little fuss made about who he is. Either William or Kate do drop off, and they are always very friendly,” this parent revealed.

Work-out Will

The fellow parent explained that Wills is extra sociable.

“William particularly loves to have a chat with some of the other parents and he works out with some of the mums at the Harbour Club after drop off. He’s very chatty and amiable,” they said.

Kinda cool to be working out with the future king of England, one would think!

And while we’re on the subject of the smaller royals, their birthdays are not far away, with Louis in the lead. He’ll turn one on 23 April, Charlotte will turn four on 2 May and George will turn six on 22 July.

How quickly they grow up!
