“SISTERS!”

Celebrating the little one’s first Easter, Jess shared a series of photos on Instagram of their newest addition, including one of the whole family with big sister Maxwell Drew, seven, and big brother Ace Knute, five.

The photo shows the family, all perfectly coordinated in florals and shades of blue, which appears to be an Easter tradition for the growing family, who were pictured similarly dressed last year

“Happy Easter from the Johnson Family, Party of 5,” the proud mum captioned the adorable snap.

Jess also shared a sweet moment between her daughters, Maxi and Birdie, who were dressed in identical floral dresses, “SISTERS!” she wrote.

And because she couldn’t get enough of the cuteness, she also zoomed in on baby Birdie sleeping soundly.

This is the first official look at the family’s newest addition, with Jess posting only a crop of her daughter’s arm when she announced her arrival back in March.

Welcome to the world

Jess welcomed baby Birdie via caesarian section and admitted that the recovery wasn’t easy.

“Recovering from a C-Section is no joke! I’m feeling thankful for these two older siblings looking over their new baby sister,” Jess posted alongside a photo of her eldest two.

Recovering from a C-Section is no joke! I'm feeling thankful for these two older siblings looking over their new baby sister. I think we all get so carried away with the excitement of having a new baby that we forget that we are going in for major surgery. Then on top of that, we get home from the hospital, have to recover from the surgery, balance our new life as a parent to three kids and be a wife. I'm so grateful to the @peanut community for helping me tackle this new life and supporting me as a mother of three! The @peanut app is an amazing support to connect with other moms and get advice. The app introduces you to women in your neighborhood based on the things you have in common. I have been chatting with other moms in my same situation and they have been answering my questions. It is so nice to be able to relate to a community of moms and moms-to-be who are going through the same things as me. Go check it out. #peanutapp

Sibling love

Despite the struggles, a source told People shortly after the birth that Jess was “feeling good” and “savouring every minute”.

“They are elated. They are just soaking it all in.”

The source also revealed that her siblings were loving their new baby sister, saying Maxi and Ace “are so excited” and “can’t get enough of” the new addition.
