Mum’s hilarious wardrobe malfunction will make you feel less alone
Oh Lori. Lori, Lori, Lori. Not gonna lie you’re our new fashion-forward hero!
“If you feel like a failure today …”
Mum Lori Farrell is the gift we didn’t know we needed today, because she’s shared a brilliant mum moment that doesn’t seem so far-fetched if you’ve ever cared for small children.
Lori posted a photo of herself on Facebook and she’s sporting a cute outfit featuring a lovely striped skirt. Only she isn’t. We’ll let Lori explain.
“If you feel like a failure today,” Lori wrote, “Just know that I wore a car seat cover a friend gave me because I thought it was a skirt.”
Yup. Snort. LOL. And look who hasn’t rushed out of the house with their dress on inside out or something unseemly stuck to the back of their pants?
If you feel like a failure today, just know that I wore a car seat cover a friend gave me because I thought it was a skirt. ????? Itzy Ritzy Confetti Wedding Cake

Lori’s taken parental wardrobe mishaps up a notch and she may soon compete in the Olympics or be Prime Minister because she’s that talented, hatching the sort of adulting plot twist we didn’t see coming.
What an innovator!

Other people loved Lori’s Facebook post too so it’s fair to say we’re all feeling incredibly seen and are possibly checking to see if we remembered to wear undies today.
“This made me laugh so hard. Girl, we’ve got this,” one mum wrote.
“Fashionable and innovative, I like it,” another commenter pointed out.
“I bet it was comfy AF,” someone else suggested.
“To be fair she rocked the car seat cover,” another follower wrote, tagging a friend.
In fact, the post has attracted almost 25 000 comments and been shared 64 000 times on Facebook. Needless to say, there are a lot of parents out there who are barely keeping it together and now realise Lori’s their spirit animal. Their leader, even?!
Vote one Lori! Such an inspiration!
