Prince William and Duchess Kate launch new web hub for their third baby
If you’re looking for somewhere reliable to find your royal baby news, know that the Royal Family have updated their official website to make room for Kate and William’s impending new bub!
Baby.com
In a newfangled version of the town cryer of days gone by, the firm’s Royal.UK now has an all new section at the ready for baby number three – royal.uk/baby.
“In October 2017, Kensington Palace announced that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their third child,” the powers that be tell us. “Updates will be posted on this page and on @KensingtonRoyal’s Twitter account as they become available.”
The baby section has been live for a week or so, but royal watchers have only just noticed it and it’s caused a fresh ripple of excitement about the latest teeny addition to the Royal Family.
Kate and William’s third child — who is fifth in line to the throne, bumping Harry back to sixth — is due in April, and Kate will apparently be heading back to the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in London to deliver. (Prince George and Princess Charlotte were both born at the Lindo Wing.)

A right royal year
As if that wasn’t enough excitement, there’s a royal wedding happening a month later, when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tie the knot on May 19.
“The marriage of His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle will take place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in May, 2018,” the palace announced (on the very same newsy website!) “Her Majesty The Queen has granted permission for the wedding to take place at the Chapel.”
And then? Another albeit lower-profile royal wedding as Princess Eugenie, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, marries her fiancé Jack Brooksbank in October 2018.
“The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Eugenie to Mr Jack Brooksbank,” Buckingham Palace announced earlier this year. “Her Royal Highness and Mr Jack Brooksbank became engaged in Nicaragua earlier this month. The wedding will take place in the autumn of 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, with further details to be announced in due course.”
If sources are to be believed, at some point later this year we’ll be hearing about another royal baby, with Harry and Meghan reportedly keen to start a family sooner rather than later.
