Kate Hudson had another baby shower – and it was pink as heck!
Kate Hudson’s (brilliant) baby belly is so big, it’s practically got corners on it now. The mum-to-be took her bump out for one last knees-up before her baby’s imminent arrival.
Nearly there!
Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa are expecting their first child together any second now. It’s the third child – and first daughter – for Kate, and Danny’s first time at being a dad. (Kate’s two sons are fourteen-year-old Ryder – whose dad is The Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson – and six-year-old Bingham – whose father is Muse frontman Matt Bellamy.)
The diminutive Kate had her second baby shower (the first one was an ‘office baby shower’) on Saturday in LA, this time a less work-based and more buddied-up affair.

Kate took a leaf out of the Kardashian’s baby shower book, with a backdrop of beautiful blooms, pink balloons and plenty of luxe gifts for mum and bub.
Kate wore a cream lace kaftan and pink flower crown and she looked positively elated and also a bit knackered, leaving no doubt that her baby girl will be here very, very soon.

Snacks and blooms
Kate recently appeared on The Ellen Show, alongside her original It Girl mama, Goldie Hawn. Telling Ellen her waters could “go any second” Kate revealed that at one of her previous births, Goldie showed up with a magnolia flower as a kind of visual aid.
“She wanted me to think of my vagina as a magnolia flower,” Kate told Ellen.“And I was like, I never want to think of my vagina that big!”
As she neared the birth of her son, Kate said her mind was focused intensely on one thing. Food.
“I said, ‘I’m really hungry so I’m just going to come back’. I came back with pizza and Doritos.”

Be prepared
Pizza and magnolias aside, Kate and Danny apparently have the nursery all prepped. The couple revealed via Instagram stories that they’d splurged on a Snoo Smart Sleeper – the sleep-encouraging smart bassinet favoured by the likes of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.
They’re also totally prepped for some newborn baby-wearing, with Danny shown trying on a baby carrier for size.
Looks like all the ducks are lined up in the Hudson-Fujikawa house. Over to you, baby!
