2. Chilli and spicy foods
There are a couple of theories surrounding why chilli just MIGHT hurry labour along. Firstly, it’s thought that spicy foods might stimulate the production of prostaglandins which help things along from the inside out.
Secondly, spicy foods can irritate the digestive system, which may then stimulate the uterus and get things going.
