6 things desperate mums can do to try to kickstart labour
Are you still carrying around your too-comfy bub in your refusing-to-contract uterus? Well, if you’ve given all the labour-sparking foods a shot and find yourself STILL staring down at your overdue baby bump, it might be time to try some of these non-foody ways to kickstart your labour.
3. High beam your nipples
Currently on the couch binge-watching Call The Midwife on Netflix, hoping it will somehow teach your reluctant-to-be-born bub how to do this whole exiting the birth canal thing? Slip your hands inside your top (let’s face it – you’re not wearing a bra) and start gently rolling your nipples to release oxytocin and (fingers crossed!) start contractions.
