Understanding the impact of baby loss

Traditionally, women have been encouraged to keep their pregnancy a secret until three months, given that the first three months are when many miscarriages happen.

But such secrecy doesn’t help those who experience pregnancy loss, nor the wider community in how to support and care for someone whose child has died. 

Annabel Bower is a mother of three, and owner of the catering company Food By Annabel

She talks about her experience of pregnancy loss, and what kind of support helped her the most.
