With the help of modern science and medicine 27,000 babies are born premature in Australia. A premature birth is considered a live birth under 37 weeks of gestation. While this is a small miracle that allows parents to raise their early babies, it can have implications for those babies later in life. Kylie Pussell is the CEO and co-founder of Miracle Babies FoundationThe foundation has just launched an information hub for parents and carers of premature babies, with content for the babies as they grow into children and young adults.

It’s called Nurture E. Here, Kylie talks about the impact premature birth can have on a baby’s life, and what parents can do to support their little fighters throughout their childhood.
