New picture book tells a story of resilience and connection

Jess McGeachin is an illustrator who spends his days drawing for the Melbourne Museum.

He’s also just created a picture book called Fly – a story about a father and his daughter discovering what it means to lose something, and how to deal with that loss.

Jess talks about the inspiration behind the book, and why he’s not telling anyone what to feel.
