Mums are often told to make time for themselves, to make sure they get in their own ‘self-care’. Adele Maree’s son, Zayden was born with complex special needs, and when he was only three, he had brain surgery. She has seen him suffer and managed his care through many, many trips to the hospital.

You may wonder how she would have time for self-care in such a challenging scenario, but for Adele, it was an understanding that if she didn’t look after herself she would be no use to anybody.

Adele talks about life with Zayden, why she started her own coaching business Reachable and how to find the joy in moments.
