How to live in harmony with your four-footed friend

Having your own babies and then introducing a fur-baby to your family, or having a fur-baby and then bringing home a human one can be fraught. Jen Tate and her husband Ryan are dog trainers who previously worked in zoos and are called upon to do everything from training dogs to use a crate for interstate travel to using their own dogs to find endangered koalas. Together they have three small children. Their book is called How to Train Your Dog.

Jen explains how to set your home up for introducing either a puppy or new baby to a dog, and what we need to teach children about dogs.
