Helping little kids understand big emotions

As children grow, they are learning all kinds of new things: how to eat solid food, crawl, speak, walk and use the toilet.

But of all the things a child learns, understanding their own emotions can be the steepest learning curve of all. In fact, it’s probably a learning curve most adults are still on!

Anthony Semann is an educator for Early Learning Teachers at Semann and Slattery.

He gives us some tips on how to help children understand their big emotions.
