Red Wiggle Simon reveals more about Emma and Lachy’s split
The red Wiggle Simon Pryce says recently separated Lachy and Emma are doing just fine and assertions that there is tension in the ranks is basically a load of poppycock.
“On the outside you wouldn’t know”
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Simon stressed that his fellow purple and yellow Wiggles are doing a brilliant job of navigating a challenging time.
“They’re unbelievably professional so on the outside you wouldn’t know that they’re going through any issues at all,” he explained. “They’re dealing with it really well.”
Simon’s comments come after some news outlets have reported on everything from icy distance to sneaky hand-holding between Emma and Lachy since they announced their separation.
In truth, the pair are continuing their work with The Wiggles as positively as possible, being respectful of each other, embodying “the show must go on” and prepping for an upcoming tour of Australia and abroad. Phew!

With friends like those …
Simon’s show of support is a stark contrast to some other friendships Emma and Lachy have been navigating lately, with Emma telling The Daily Telegraph earlier this week that some ‘friends’ have been leaking details of their split to the press.
“(Lachlan) has been great, but he had spoken in confidence to friends and they had gone to the media,” Emma said. “I think dealing with all that has been the hardest part — the betrayal. I feel so much more guarded now.”
Staying close
The pair say they’re finding a new normal – and supporting each other through their big transition.
“We live separately but we see each other every single day. Some days are weird but the one person I have been able to rely on is him,” she admitted.
Lachy’s feelings mirror Emma’s, saying that despite their marriage ending, they’re still very close and love one another.
“We are the best of friends,” he told Page 13. “We always have been, that’s how it started. To be able to realise as a couple that we were going different ways and to stay as close as we are is a real testament, I think, to both of us.”
“I love her more now than anything and she loves me more than anything.”
