Having children is a huge shock to the system – EVERYTHING changes. And while there are plenty of highs there is also a hell of a lot of bumps on this wild ride with no road map or instruction manual in sight. So if you’re heading into the jungle here are ten ways to make it through the first year (without going completely bonkers)!

 

1. Drink heaps of coffee

You are going to be tired – all the time. So get jiggy with that coffee pot as it’s the only way you’ll get through some days. Don’t drink it? Well now could be a good time to start. Sure alcohol is another popular go-to, but babies and hangovers? Insane!
