The oh-so-cute adventures of a toddler and his truck are a must-see

This cheeky two-year-old is showing us all exactly how life rolls when you’re a toddler and every day brings a new adventure.

Like most toddlers, Miles Carr loves imitating the adults in his life and it was one day of play that inspired his photographer mum Alaina Carr to set up a humorous shot to share.

“Miles was playing with his truck in the house one day and pretending he was going through a drive-through,” Alaina tells Babyology.

“He’d say ‘nuggets! Fries! Uhh nuggets! And toys! Thank you.’ and then he’d pull forward like he was getting food.

“So I thought it’d be funny to take him through an actual drive-through.”

Alaina posted the adorable snap to her Facebook page and you can guess what happened next. People loved it and so The Adventure of Miles series was born.

Miles and his truck have been busy ever since, towing his dad’s ute out of trouble, finding room in his ride to get the groceries and hardware supplies, taking a date to her prom, hauling a boat, getting married and even navigating his way through a paparazzi pack.

But such a busy life does not come without some hurdles such as getting a ticket from a police officer – who knew being cute was a crime?

Alaina says a good friend on the force made that particular shot possible.

“That officer is one of my closest friends so I told him he didn’t have a choice,” she says. “Our families adore each other so he was definitely up for it.”

The friendly copper isn’t the only one happy to help Miles with his adventures. Local businesses have been lining up to help the toddler trucker.

While the final photo shows Miles accepting keys to an upgraded vehicle, we somehow think the truck he received last Christmas will remain the pride of his fleet for some time.

Truck or no truck, toddlers certainly know how to keep busy and keep their parents on their toes, from requiring unique ways to wake up such as Parker Shaw’s Gangnam Style early morning dance to getting themselves stuck in tricky situations such as three-year-old Opal, who got her head stuck in a chair.
