Sympathetic fans rush to support very pregnant and breathless Jessica Simpson
Jessica Simpson is surely in the final hours of her pregnancy if her breathlessness is anything to go by.
Third time’s a charm
Jess is expecting her third child and is already mum to a five-year-old called Ace and a six-year-old daughter named Maxwell, with husband Eric Johnson.
Jess just shared a sponsored post on her Instagram account, and as much as people thought the green tea mask she was schilling seemed brilliant, many were much more focused on the pregnancy side-effects she appeared to be battling with.
“Oh hun,” one wrote. “Being that swollen during pregnancy is miserable. I can hear you struggle to breath. I hope you pop that baby out soon.”
“That’s gotta be the toughest pregnancy I’ve ever seen,” another wrote. “When r u due girl?”
“It’s hard to breathe with a baby jammed up under your ribs,” someone else recalled.
“Girl … I feel you,” another mum commented. “With both my kiddos I was 240 pounds when I went into labour. Bloat and swelling galore! All the best to you and hang in there!!”
“Be proud of that body, it’s working on your third human! Wishing you a healthy and safe pregnancy/delivery,” a kind fan wrote.

Concern trolling?
Lots of people were worried about Jess’s health and didn’t hold back in telling her so.
“Speaking as someone concerned for your health,” one Instagrammer wrote, “it looks like your thyroid is very swollen. Please, please, please get this checked out if you haven’t already.”
“You look so swollen it’s scary, please stay off your feet and try to lower your salt!” another wrote.
But they were clapped back at pretty quickly by fans like this one:
“So many people magically become a doctor and offer suggestions. As if she doesn’t have the best doctors and specialists out there.”
Jess has been battling swelling in the last few weeks, taking to Instagram to share her struggle with ‘skankles’ and broken toilet seats, among other things.
Here’s hoping Jess delivers her baby over the weekend and gets to move onto the next stage of her life as a puff-free mum-of-three.
