Pink’s kitchen floor decaf coffee-break perfectly sums-up late pregnancy

pink drinking coffee on kitchen floor

Pink uploaded this chortle-worthy snapshot to Instagram Tuesday and we’re fairly certain every woman who’s experienced those final weeks of pregnancy virtually fist-bumped her on behalf of the sisterhood.

Pit stop

Careful to point out she was microwaving decaf at the time (hold your caffeine outrage, party poopers!), the singer is pictured cross-legged and giggling, holding a mug of coffee in front of the open microwave door.

Captioned: “When microwaving your decaf coffee becomes an excuse to sit on the floor and rest for a while…”, the candid shot is one part burdensome belly and many, many parts adorable.

We’re not sure how long Pink had been hiding in plain sight like this, but it’s fair to say her kitchen floor coffee sipping days may be numbered as baby number two seems to be quite imminent.

One on the way

Pink and husband Carey Hart have one daughter, 5-year-old Willow, and only recently announced they were expecting baby number two.

Hart spoke to People Magazine over the weekend, confirming that the family don’t know the sex of their second child yet. He’s kind of hoping to even out the gender balance, truth-be-told.

“We got one princess, so hopefully we’ll have a little guy coming,” Hart said. “I’m nervous for what it’s going to be.”

“It’s been a while since we’ve had a baby around the house. It’s going to be really fun,” Hart laughed.

Big sister prep

Instagram tells us that the couple’s daughter Willow has been carefully preparing for the birth of her new baby sibling.

Her mum proudly shared a snap of Willow working on her nappy change technique last week.

Retired motocross dad Hart proudly detailed Willow’s work-in-progress gift for the new bub on his Instagram – a newly rebuilt bike.

Familiar feels?

Maybe Pink’s microwave pit-stop has you nodding in solidarity, remembering just how hard it was to get up/roll over/navigate space generally during those last days of pregnancy?!

(Personally I had to stop going to the supermarket because I kept accidentally bumping people with my belly and they got pretty jack of it.)

We’re super-excited to see this new little kiddo pop up on Instagram some time very soon.
