Maternity photo shoot ends in special surprise for mum-to-be

A maternity photo shoot is a rite of passage for most parents-to-be, but this adorable maternity photo shoot took an unexpected turn for the mum-to-be.

It started out for expectant couple Lorenza Donna and Louis Bruno like most maternity photos shoots do – coordinated outfits, hair combed to perfection, a beautiful outdoor scene and a professional photographer behind the lens, ready to snap away.

But when Louis got down on one knee, presented his girlfriend with a diamond ring and offered her a baby onesie with a special message, this typical maternity shoot was transformed into so much more.

Louis and Lorenza, who live in Florida, USA, were over the moon when they discovered they were expecting their first baby. Due in August, Lorenza was given a maternity photo shoot through art C images Photography as a present by a friend.

While she planned the outfits and organised for the shoot, the father-to-be was busy with his own preparations.
As the couple posed for the classic back-to-back shot, Louis pulled out a ring and asked Lorenza to marry him.

“I couldn’t even begin to imagine how perfect this whole moment was really about to be,” Lorenza says. “I started crying, shaking, trying so hard to concentrate on what he was saying, but all I could think about was that this was it! The love of my life, the father of my child, was asking me to marry him and I couldn’t wait to say YES!”

Along with the ring, Louis presented Lorenza with an adorable baby onesie holding a special message, which the glowing bride-(and mum)-to-be shared on her Facebook page.

Talk about a sweet engagement story! We wish the adorable couple all the best on their journey towards marriage and parenthood.
