The wildly anticipated royal baby is around four months away and updates about Duchess Meghan’s bump are now reaching fever pitch.
Pop goes the bump!
Pregnant ladies often go from looking like they ate one burger too many to looking like they’re having a baby, almost overnight. The Duchess of Sussex has officially reached that point and royal watchers could not be more delighted!
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are expected to welcome their first baby in very late March OR sometime in April, the actual “Spring” due date a closely guarded secret.
The pair are making plans to shift from the city to the country – or out of Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor – with Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland rumoured to be joining them for at least some of the late pregnancy/early newborn days.
Fans of the Sussexes are sharing their bump enthusiasm on various royal fan Instagram accounts.
“Perfect bump! I’m so excited for them!” one person commented.
“She’s popped! We need more pics!” another gushed.
“I hope it’s twins! That’ll be lovely,” someone else posted.

Twins? Rift? Huh?
Indeed there has been some speculation that the royal couple are expecting twins, but really there’s nothing to back up those suggestions except perhaps wishful thinking on the part of royal fans and story-keen media types.
Similarly, there have been countless stories about an imaginary rift between Kate and Meghan, with the palace issuing a rare statement rejecting reports of a squabble. Again there is little evidence to back this piffle up apart from those mysterious “palace insiders” that media sometimes cites.

Over the weekend UK newspaper The Sun published a report asserting that Kate told Meghan not to berate members of her staff. Kensington Palace promptly responded that “this never happened”. William, Harry, Kate and Meghan are planning to spend Christmas together at Sandringham with the Queen and other members of the royal family, hopefully knocking those silly feud rumours on the head once and for all.
So annoying that the tabloids engage in manufacturing drama between women as a way of lining their own pockets, right? Just be happy for them and let them live, dammit!

The Duchess of Sussex visited the Hubb Community Kitchen to join the preparations as the women cooked 300 meals for the local community, and heard about some of the new outreach projects at the kitchen started by the women. These include a scheme to deliver nutritious meals for women on maternity wards, and a group offering a safe space for women affected by domestic violence. The women also talked to The Duchess and @chefclaresmyth about their long-term vision for the Kitchen, and how they hope to use further proceeds from Together to reach even more people in their community. #CookTogether
