Watch and see the exact moment a mother falls in love with her baby

She carried him inside for more than six months and no doubt her love for the baby inside her grew stronger each day. But it was when she finally got to hold her fragile baby son that she completely fell in love. Watch to see the video of the exact moment a mother’s love for her child makes her heart feel like it’s about to explode.

The moment new mum Jessica held her 10 week premature baby Hugo is the moment she falls to pieces. Holding strong during a pregnancy that didn’t quite go to plan, Jessica was finally able to let all the emotion out – he’s here, he’s safe, he’s alive. The tears flow, so be prepared for the same to happen to you as you watch this magical moment.

After being delivered by C-section, Hugo was quickly whisked away to the NICU to be evaluated. It wasn’t until almost 60 hours later that Jessica was able to hold her tiny baby boy for the first time.

A tiny hand clutches at his mother’s chest and her hand instinctively gives him a stroke on the back. Hugo snuggles into his mother, close to her heart. It’s the maternal bond that no-one can break.

Posted to the Love What Matters page on Facebook and clocking up more than seven million views, the videographer says they took the video hoping to catch a ‘moment’, but never anticipated catching the exact moment that Jessica fell completely in love with her baby.

“The bond between mother and son immediately solidified. I hope that this video can show people that love is the most important thing in anyone’s life. Without it we will simply exist, when the goal is to live.”

Further proof of the power of love and a family’s instant bond is our recent post showing the video of the moment tiny premature twins hold each other’s hands while snuggling on their dad’s chest.
