Multiple media outlets are reporting that actors Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton have been seen out and about pushing a double stroller. They’re taking this as confirmation that the pair have welcomed baby number two.
The pair have avoided discussing Camelot star Tamsin’s pregnancy publicly, but the fact that they were seen shopping in London’s Hampstead sans baby bump and pushing two kiddos seems to indicate that the eagle has indeed landed.
The pics also indicate the pair were more than a little miffed at being papped by intrusive photographers. #WeDontBlameThem
The couple were similarly privacy conscious when their first baby – a little girl – was born in November 2015. They’ve (admirably) kept most of those details private as well.
Penny Dreadful star Josh spoke to Live! With Kelly and Michael, last year about baby number one.
“She’s the apple of my eye, she’s perfect in every way,” he admitted, noting that sleep was a rare commodity in their household.
Josh noted that small people have a clever way of rearranging life priorities:
“It puts things in a totally new perspective, of course. Your ego just melts away when you have a new kid — your heart leaves your body, and you give it permission to walk around with someone else for a while,” he told the show’s Kelly Ripa.
Back then, Josh wasn’t shy about sharing the diverse range of emotions parenting has surfaced and you get the impression that the feels are kind of knocking his socks off.
“It’s really terrifying, but it’s beautiful. I love it more than anything — I wish I would’ve started earlier. But I’m so glad that she is the one that I’m raising.”
He admitted he was living for those dead-of-night moments with his little girl.
“The best moments are when you get those individual moments alone in the middle of the night. Those moments are the most precious things.”
We’re betting that the second time around, things are easier, but just as emotion-charged.
Congratulations to Josh and Tamsin on this new addition!
