The Bachelor ringmaster Osher Günsberg and his wife Audrey Griffen have welcomed their first child together, a brand new baby brother for Audrey’s teenage daughter.

Welcome Wolfie

Osher announced his little boy’s birth on Instagram overnight and his arrival has obviously made a huge impression.

“Please meet Georgia’s youngest brother, Wolfgang,” Osher captioned the couple’s first public photo reveal with their bub. “We call him Wolfie for short.”

Osher met make-up artist Audrey on the set of The Bachelor and fell in love pretty much at first sight.

The couple announced they were expecting back in February, sharing an ultrasound photo of their little “chickpea”.

That chickpea – now named Wolfie – arrived on Friday and Osher noted “he was born perfectly formed with ten fingers and toes, healthy and happy at 3.97kg. (Though between the delivery bed and the scale he did do a massive poop – and the doc agreed that if he hadn’t he would have topped 4kg easily.) “

Experiencing childbirth for the first time obviously had a huge impact on Osher, who said he was in “complete awe” of wife Audrey.

“What I witnessed her do, the power I saw her summon from within her to bring this boy into the world was utterly astonishing,” he wrote on Instagram.

“As he came closer and closer, her body began to unleash an incredible energy that was absolutely not going to be held back. Yet Audrey was able to harness it, guide it, and use it to transcend the extraordinary pain she was feeling and channel it all towards an energy that brought this boy alive and well into the world.”

“Astonishing to witness”

Osher has pretty much fallen in love with Audrey all over again.

“That I’ve known Audrey for over five years, and yet had no idea that within her this whole time was an almighty divine force capable of bringing life into the world like this blows my mind and was astonishing to witness.”

“I can’t think of any single thing a man does in his life that physically equates to what I saw Audrey do. For me – any marathon or endurance event I’ve ever raced is essentially a wander to the kitchen compared to what I saw Audrey do on Friday. “

Osher explained that big sister Georgia created a birth room playlist so that Wolfie could “came into the world to the sounds of Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce and Khalid. Less than an hour after he was born, Wolfie met G for real – and she’s the best big sister he could have ever hoped for.”

“We are in love and drowning in gratitude, oxytocin and new baby smell,” Osher summed up. Naw.

Huge congratulations to this family on their newest little recruit.

Please meet Georgia’s youngest brother, Wolfgang. We call him Wolfie for short. He and @Audreygriffen did so well on Friday when he was born perfectly formed with ten fingers and toes, healthy and happy at 3.97kg. (Though between the delivery bed and the scale he did do a massive poop – and the doc agreed that if he hadn’t he would have topped 4kg easily.) I am in complete awe of my wife. What I witnessed her do, the power I saw her summon from within her to bring this boy into the world was utterly astonishing. As he came closer and closer, her body began to unleash an incredible energy that was absolutely not going to be held back. Yet Audrey was able to harness it, guide it, and use it to transcend the extraordinary pain she was feeling and channel it all towards an energy that brought this boy alive and well into the world. That I’ve known Audrey for over five years, and yet had no idea that within her this whole time was an almighty divine force capable of bringing life into the world like this blows my mind and was astonishing to witness. I can’t think of any single thing a man does in his life that physically equates to what I saw Audrey do. For me – any marathon or endurance event I’ve ever raced is essentially a wander to the kitchen compared to what I saw Audrey do on Friday. Wolfie’s big sister Georgia was in the room with us via the most perfect playlist that she made especially for the occasion – and this boy came into the world to the sounds of Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce and Khalid. Less than an hour after he was born, Wolfie met G for real – and she’s the best big sister he could have ever hoped for. We are in love and drowning in gratitude, oxytocin and new baby smell.

My love always writes the loveliest things about me, but he’s just the sweetest and I am so lucky to have him by Georgia and my sides. It was a very short trip that felt like a lot longer, so relaxing and enjoyable to spend time with both of my greatest loves. Thank you honey for making these little trips away happen. And thank you Georgia for being so hilarious and fun! My only wish was that I could convince Georgia that photos with us aren’t that embarrassing, although they usually are. #embarrassingoldies #babycountdownbegins #dontlookmybellybuttonintheeye #Repost @osher_gunsberg with @get_repost ・・・ Snuck away for the weekend with Georgia and @audreygriffen for a few days on @daydreamislandresort before baby comes. Top spot, food was great, and the young and super well-trained staff went over and above to make guests from all over the world feel welcome. Reef tourism is a big deal, it employs tens of thousands of people right across Queensland and is something we should hold on to and protect. They do an incredible job and bring huge sustainable money into our economy. FYI Audrey is reading a magazine because my water bottle leaked in my bag destroying my Kindle – so she kindly lent me her book, Michelle Obama’s “Becoming”. Lying in the tropical winter sun next to the strongest woman I’ve ever known reading about the incredible strength of Michelle Obama was a true delight. Also – how incredible does my wife look, all pregnant and glorious? Extra points for the @nickfouquet hat 😉
