Kris Jenner shares surprising details of Kylie labour – “This is really weird”
Kylie Jenner gave birth to baby Stormi back in February, and new details about the birth have just emerged.
Super trooper
Last week’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians focused on Kim’s daughter Chicago’s birth and things are moving along at a brisk pace.
This week’s episode promo confirming that Stormi’s birth is next cab off the production rank. Kylie’s mum and momager Kris Jenner said her daughter was “such a trooper” during labour.
“She really was. She was so calm,” Kris says in the preview.

“This is really weird”
Kris, who has given birth to and been at the birth of many, many children also revealed that Kylie bypassed the usual pain associated with a human trying to find their way out of your body.
“She just kept saying, ‘I don’t feel any pain,’ and you’d see the contractions like crazy and she would say, ‘I’m just not feeling it,’ and I would say, ‘This is really weird.’” (It’s not clear why Kylie felt no pain, but hopefully, the show will shed some light on this.)
The moment of truth – Stormi actually emerging into the world – was a special one for everyone, but especially Kris.
“It was really exciting,” she said before adding, “I delivered the baby! I pulled her out.”
The fact that Kris delivered baby Stormi will come as no surprise to KarJenner fans. Kourtney Kardashian reached down and pulled baby Mason from her body on the show seven seasons ago, and the sisters are almost always assembled in the delivery room when a baby is imminent (along with their mum!)
“She’s not married”
It’s nice to hear Kris speaking so positively and proudly about her daughter’s pregnancy and birth experience. Kylie’s dad, Caitlin Jenner, has not been so enthusiastic. She recently appeared on the TV show Loose Women, and put her foot in mouth when chatting about her daughter, as she is wont to do.
Caitlin revealed she had hoped Kylie would wait until she was 30 before she had a baby, and that the fact that she was not married to Stormi’s dad, Travis Scott, was apparently an issue with Caitlin too.
“She’s always wanted to be a mum but when she called me up it was a bit tough for her as she’s not married,” Caitlin asserted.
“I’ve always believed you’re better off waiting and there’s no rush. I had my first child at 29 and I kind of had everything done. Fortunately, she’s in a position where she can care for the child very well.”
The story so far
Kim’s baby Chicago was born on 15 January. Kylie’s daughter Stormi was born on 1 February and Khloé’s baby True arrived on 12 April.
Given that KUWTK has now covered off Chicago and Stormi’s births now, we’re probably an episode or two away from Khloé’s daughter True’s birth. It remains to be seen – literally – whether we’ll hear Khloé’s side of the story on the drama with baby daddy, Tristan Thompson.
