Here’s why Khloé Kardashian has called her new baby girl True
Khloé Kardashian has broken her social media silence to reveal her newborn daughter’s name, chosen for its special family significance – and possibly its cute simplicity.

Following a very tough couple of days, Khloé gave birth to baby True on Thursday of last week. This little girl is Khloé’s first child, the baby’s father the now controversial NBA player, Tristan Thompson.
Khloé popped back up on Instagram a couple of hours ago, posting a very pink and balloon-filled photo to celebrate her daughter – and announce her name was True.
Appearing to focus firmly on giving her baby the most positive start in life, Khloé made it clear that she and Tristan are united as parents and besotted with their newborn.
“Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE,” Khloé wrote on Instagram. “Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!”

Whatever the reality of this couple’s relationship, and we’d rather not speculate, they will need to parent this little girl together for the next couple of decades. It’s obvious that Khloé’s making her daughter’s security and happiness a priority.
“My precious little granddaughter”
While this name might seem super unusual, it’s actually not the case for this family. Kris Jenner revealed a little more about the name Khloé (and presumably Tristan) chose, explaining that a couple of notable Trues have gone before this little one – and also quietly dropping in the baby’s brand new Instagram handle. As you do!
“I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!!” Kris posted on her own Instagram account.
“Fun fact… my grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton…. My Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton… So I am so excited Khloé named her daughter True!!! #lovebug #familytradition #family @true”
Khloé’s chosen not to share any images of her baby girl as yet, but we’re certain they won’t be far away.
