A lot of mums already consider themselves protective mama bears so it’s quite fitting to turn to the animal kingdom when considering a name for your sweet little cub. Here are 16 of the wildest (and coolest!) monikers inspired by nature’s creatures.

The king of the jungle, this brave moniker is one to be proud of. And if you're not feeling bold enough to use as a first name, do as singer Amy Lee from Evanescence did and pair it with something else - her son is called Jack Lion - how fierce is that?! ROAR!
