The Scandi-inspired baby play gym by Bella Buttercup

When is a play gym not just a play gym? When it becomes a welcome focal point of the room that we actually want to show off, that’s when!

Bella Buttercup has got the balance just right. This refreshing new take on the traditional baby play gym is modern and contemporary with natural wood elements and soft colour tones to compliment any home interior.

Designed to keep baby entertained so you can get on with all those other things busy parents need to do; the Bella Buttercup Play Bar is visually stimulating and helps little ones develop hand-eye coordination.

Each Play Bar comes with eight toys that both you and your baby will love. There are four wood and four silicone toys that have been specially designed with texture and colour to delight the senses through touch and sight and meet the highest safety standards.

Toys hang from the play bar via natural toned straps attached with press studs so you can easily move them around to challenge your baby, or take them off to clean them. Measuring 58cm high and 110cm long, the Play Bar comes apart so you can easily store it away.

In a new development to the Play Bar range, Bella Buttercup’s latest release features silicone toys that are more gender specific. There is a girls’ set in custom pink, white and grey and a boy set in powder blue, grey and white, in addition to the gender neutral set in mint, grey, white and natural. An exclusive, white dipped Play Bar has also just been released, exclusive to Bella Buttercup and is available in a package from $320.

The Play Bar has been so popular that Bella Buttercup is currently taking pre-orders for its third release, due to arrive in early December. The Play Bar retails for $270 or you can buy the Complete (I Want It All) Play Bar that includes a Play Space mat in your choice of colour for $345.

If you love the style of the Bella Buttercup Play Bar, you’ll love the rest of the products they stock. We recently featured their Play Space Mat and the Bella Buttercup Baby Bundle that makes nappy changes easy.

Existing in a phase she affectionately coins ‘monotonous chaos’, this stay-at-home-mum revels in moonlighting as a writer and feeling like a grown up every once in a while. A background in teaching and psychology, she entered parenthood confident she was up for the challenge, but now eats humble pie on a daily basis.
