Simplicity at its best – the kekoKIWI pull-along toy

Here’s a nod to our trans-Tasman cousins, in the form of a timeless toy which takes its inspiration from an unmistakable animal.

This cutie-pie creature is quiet, simple and beautiful – toys don’t get much better. The kekoKIWI is, of course, modelled on those quirky, flightless birds from New Zealand. The beak and body are clearly visible, with the legs making way for wheels. And they’re not just any wheels – they’re off-set, giving the kekoKIWI a distinct wobble in his walk.

Each of the parts that make up the kekoKIWI are turned from locally-grown timbers, including beech and pine, and are finished with lead free paint – in either black or red.

Each kekoKIWI is handmade in New Zealand, and are the perfect size for little hands. You can pick one up from Antipodean Love, the exclusive Australian stockist, for $29.95 plus postage.
