A Lego Gingerbread House which looks good enough to eat!

Perusing the Lego aisles in a bid to tick things off my Christmas shopping list and what catches my eye but this glorious, pastel infused, teeny tiny gingerbread house. I’m going to call it, folks – Lego has never been sweeter in my humble, festive spirited opinion.

With only 277 pieces to its build, the mini-fig scale gingerbread house fits in the palm of  your hand. Don’t be fooled though, its small framework doesn’t skimp on charming detail – we’re treated to a lolly adorned roof, candy-cane pillars, peppermint swirl window louvres and even licorice allsorts nestled by the door.

The Gingerbread House (set 40139) was originally a give-away from the very merry people at Lego when you spent a certain amount in their store – and if you’re quick you can still get one at Lego online when you spend more than US$120.  We’re rather enthusiastic brick builders here at Babyology HQ and are lamenting the fact that this cute as a button Gingerbread house isn’t available as a separate set for sale here in Australia.
