Corby Tindersticks – Cute soft toys with a cult following

Cute handmade toys

You know those gorgeous little characters that children draw? Ever wished you could see them come to life?

Corby Tindersticks have managed to perfectly embody that kiddy perspective in their soft toy range. Basic shapes, slightly freaky faces (in a good way) and arms that are either nonexistent or way too long. The good news for Australians is that they are coming to Minibots online store.

Minty Macaronie, Little Pico Pippin and Rainbow Robot may not be everyone’s cup of tea but those who like them will LOVE them.

Hip Hop toy for kids

Meet Hip Hop Harold, this little guy is quite the traveller. His fabric was made in the UK, then printed with eco-friendly ink in Wales before being hand assembled in Birmingham. According to his bio, he loves listening to 2Pac and baking cupcakes for his friends. Yes you read that right, all the characters come with their own oddly detailed biography. There is a serious amount of cute that comes with this brand.

Corby Tindersticks have some pretty high profile fans and have even been featured on Bluebird Blog. They will be landing any moment now and are expected to cost from $15 each. We actually didn’t think Minibots could get any cooler, but there you go. Be careful, you will not be able to leave empty handed.
