Chrissy Teigen and John Legend on their blowout wedding fight: “Everyone knew”
Turns out John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are a lot like every other couple in that they have big fights in public.
“A major blowout”
And they’re also a lot NOT like every other couple, in that, “in public” means they had a huge spat at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding.
Chrissy and John popped up on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen the other day and spilled the beans about what they called “a major blowout” at the 2014 Florence nuptials of KimYe.
“It was a major blowout to the point where like every time I see them I feel like apologising for it,” Chrissy told Andy Cohen.
“I don’t think they knew,” John suggested when Andy asked if the bride and groom were aware of the drama.
“Ohhh everyone knew,” Teigen said.

“I was just very insecure”
Apparently Chrissy spoke to Kim about her and John’s fight a couple of years later, but she’d not spoken publicly about why the fight erupted. She’s now revealed that she felt out of her depth at the star-studded event and says John became the focus for her anxiety.
“I think I felt really, I was really intimidated, and it came from a lot of insecurity,” Chrissy told Andy. “I just I took it out on John.”
“There were a lot of fabulous, amazing people in one room, and that’s where it stemmed from. I was just very insecure, and you know how things snowball … and then also drinking.”
Fight club
Turns out Kim and Kanye had their own fight and it was over John and Chrissy’s wedding. Kim had just given birth to North at the time and did not attend the Lake Como wedding.
“I got into a fight with Kanye during your wedding,” Kim told Chrissy during a segment for her app. She continued that Kanye “kept texting me being like, ‘Babe this is the most beautiful wedding,’ ‘Babe this is so pretty, I really wish you were here at Lake Como.’”
“We got into the biggest fight. I was like ‘just stop texting me — go enjoy the wedding, cause you’re making me feel so bad.’”
