Most of the mums I know do not have the luxury of having children that sleep in. My two are still too young to understand just how amazing waking up after the sun comes up is, but I certainly look forward to that day. And, I especially look forward to the day when I can try this hilarious trick to help them wake up in the morning.
Finding it next to impossible to wake your children up for school in the morning? Take a page out of this mum’s book. After spending weeks and weeks trying to get her 10-year-old daughter, Sophie, out of bed and ready for school, her mum asked for some assistance from a local radio show.
The Bert Show, which airs in the United States, called on the five-piece jazz band, Blair Crimmins and the Hookers, to act as Sophie’s morning wake-up call.
We love her dazed and confused reaction as she transitions from a deep sleep to being jolted awake in less than two seconds.
How would your children react to a live band performing in their bedroom in the morning? Would they find it funny, hurl a shoe at the singer or perhaps sleep through the whole thing?
