“Such a special time” – Kate chats to royal fans about Meghan’s pregnancy
Kate’s updated royal enthusiasts on what’s going on the littlest Princes and Princess – and commented on the next addition to the royal family.
“A big boy”
It’s pretty nice to hear from Kate again, as the spotlight has been firmly on Meghan and Harry in recent months.
Visiting Leicester University on Wednesday, the Duchess of Cambridge chatted to the assembled crowd and one fan caught the conversations on video. When asked how her children five-year-old Prince George, three-year-old Princess Charlotte and seven-month-old Prince Louis were, Kate was only too happy to chat.
“They’re doing well, thank you,” she says in a clip uploaded to the Harry_Meghan_Updates Instagram account. “They’re getting excited for Christmas time, because they’ve started all their Christmas songs and the Christmas trees are going up.”
“Louis’ getting bigger, I can’t believe he’s like seven months, he’s getting to be a big boy,” she continued.
“It’ll be really special”
When quizzed about the new royal baby – Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry’s first child who is due to arrive in late March or April of 2019 – Kate was only too pleased to chat.
Asked if she was excited about the impending bub Kate responded: “Absolutely! It’s such a special time to have little kiddies. And a cousin for George and Charlotte, as well, and Louis. It’ll be really special.”
It’s no surprise and lovely to hear, especially as the UK tabloids have been trying to pit Kate and Meghan against each other, alleging a rift and all kinds of other unsubstantiated nonsense going down between William and Harry.

What feud?
Fans loved Kate’s show of support for Meghan and Harry and shot down the media rascals in the comments on Instagram.
“She’s classy!” one said of Kate. “She just put to rest all those rumours about the ‘feud’ between her and Meghan. Let women be happy for other women! Don’t try and pit them against each other!”
“Kate has embraced being fulltime royal is support of her husband exceptionally,” another follower wrote. “Her support for Meghan seem unequivocal as Harry and her are very close. The media will have u believe anything especially gossip as it sells well. Let this queen consort shine and our Princess Meghan blossom.”
