Prince Harry’s got the pro dad moves all sorted out, or so says this delighted baby he met at an engagement this week.

“I love that face”

Harry was on a solo engagement – because Meghan is on maternity leave – visiting a YMCA facility on Wednesday, when he encountered mum Maria Ahmad and her three-month-old baby girl Naz.

Obviously keen to get in some practice ahead of Baby Sussex’s arrival, Harry crouched down in front of the delighted mum and bub and had a chat.

Harry made cute faces and stuck his tongue out at the little girl, who promptly responded with a giant grin.

“Sleeping?” he asked Maria, whose response was a relatable, “Sometimes.”

Spurred on, perhaps, by the little one’s big smile, he gave Naz a little tickle.

“I love that face,” he told mum Maria (about her baby, we assume!)

“I think he has babies on his mind,” Maria later told People.

You are not alone

Harry – who is a passionate mental health awareness advocate – was at the YMCA to talk further about the importance of prioritising mental health.

“There continues to be huge progress in smashing the stigma that surrounds mental health, but let’s keep normalising the conversation,” he said.

“Let’s keep reminding each other that it’s okay to not be okay, and to listen to each other. After all, how we think determines how we act, how we feel, and how we treat ourselves and those around us.”

“It takes courage, strength and honesty, but talking through your mental health issues often becomes the key to dealing with them. Just like physical exercise, which we all know is good for us; we have to care for our minds as much as we do for our bodies.”

“1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem at some point in their lives. It is a part of all of us. Have an unashamed conversation on how you feel, be empowered to share your story and you will see you are not alone.”

What a champ and what an important message. Also what a gorgeous baby!
