No matter how tough or busy you are, if your daughter asks you to babysit her doll, you do it

Even the toughest of dads go weak at the knees for their daughters and US trucker Trent McCain is no exception. When his nine-year-old daughter Joselyn asked him to babysit her doll, he happily took on the task with gusto.

He even took to Facebook to share his babysitting adventures.

One night before Trent was to go to work at his trucking company, Joselyn told him her baby doll Abbie “really wanted to go trucking with Grandpa”.

He thought she would forget by morning but didn’t.

“This morning before I leave, she reminds me I’m babysitting today,” Trent says.

“Well being the good ‘grandpa’ I agree to take her.”

Strapping Joselyn’s beloved Abbie in the truck, Trent says he “decided to have a little fun” with photos of their travels.

“I didn’t want Joselyn thinking I threw Abbie in the sleeper and forgot about her,” he says.

Trent also reveals Joselyn kept checking in on her precious doll throughout the day and was a little critical of his dietary choices for her when he showed her a photo of Abbie with chocolate bar and bottle of soft drink.

“We took a break while loading wheat for a mid morning snack,” he says.

“Joselyn didn’t appreciate our choice, but I informed her that Abbie ate what I ate, and didn’t complain. Hopefully she took note of this.”

Abbie even appeared to have dressed the part with purple shoes to match her grandpa’s truck.

“Abbie with Grandpa’s truck. Notice her shoes match…nice,” Trent writes in the caption.

After a busy day checking the wheat and loading the corn Trent took Abbie to see her great grandpa.

“Loaded the final load of wheat from our family farm this morning,” Trent says.

“My father ‘great grandpa McCain’ took his turn with Abbie. He thinks the world of his grand daughter.”

The positive reaction he received after posting the photos to his personal page prompted Trent to share them on the McCain Enterprises Facebook page, where they have been shared more than 90,000 times and received more than 200,000 likes and reactions.

Luckily for Trent, it doesn’t appear Abbie gets car sick. Poor Ben Patterson is probably still trying to get the smell out of his car after his toddler son projectile vomitted, leading to a hilarious account via texts sent to his wife that went viral.
