Kim Kardashian revealed some more details about daughter North West’s sibling struggles – and we have to say we find it very relatable (and more entertaining than it should be!).

“She does not hardly talk to Saint”

Obviously we’re Petty Patties, because hearing about the Kardashian-West kids’ very normal behaviour makes us feel so much better about our own lives.

You possibly already know that Kim and Kanye are parents to four-year-old North, two-year-old Saint and three-month-old Chicago? Kim says that having a new sibling (Chicago was born via surrogate in January) has lifted North’s sharing game just a smidge.

“She’s better,” Kim told Ellen. “She’s better than she was with Saint.”

“She doesn’t like her brother”

You may remember that Kim spoke of the North-Saint dynamic last year, admitting that her daughter was not a huge fan of her little brother.

“She doesn’t like her brother. It’s so hard for me,” a mildly distressed Kim said in 2017.

It seems things have shifted a little since then, with North now warming to the big sister role – and even being a little bit KIND to her baby bro.

“There was a shocking moment yesterday. She literally had a can of popcorn and she was like, ‘Saint, do you want some?’ And I was like ‘Whaaaatttt?!’ You do not understand, she does not share with Saint. She does not hardly talk to Saint, so that was such a big moment in my household,” a visibly shocked – and possibly relieved – Kim revealed.

“My kid’s a genius”

When Ellen suggests two-year-old Saint might have some extra special talents, Kim is quick to agree.

“He has such an amazing vocabulary. I know it’s such a Kanye thing to say like ‘oh, my kid’s a genius’, but if I’m saying it then it’s like REAL, you know?!”

“If you ask him ‘Saint, how do you spell your name?’ he’ll say ‘S A I N T W E S T’. He fully knows how to spell,” Kim explained.

She says the two-year-old has already proven himself to be way ahead of the pack, randomly spelling out the world ‘gargantuan’ from some assembled letters, with ease.

“It was there … and there were the letters … and he put them in place … he matched all the letters to ‘gargantuan’.” #GeniusCaseClosed!

Big hair, do care

When Ellen cheekily asks if Saint is perhaps smarter than older sister North, Kim switches things up diplomatically.

“He’s nicer than North. He loves his little sister. He’s so sweet with her,” Kim reveals, but there’s a sting in the tail (as there often is with littlies!)

“I always have to watch out for him,” the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admits. “He smothers her and he has this really big hair, so he just jumps in her crib. Usually it’s like his big hair all over her face and I get worried.”

Ellen points out that Saint’s hair is brilliant. Perhaps she has never considered the potential dangers of big hair, until now. We’re all learning on our feet, obviously, even Ellen.
