Those of us who have flown with babies know that one of the best places for them to settle is in the arms of a loved one. It’s where they feel the safest and most comfortable. But holding a baby for hours during a flight is decidedly uncomfortable. Until now. Come and take a look at this whizz-bang baby travel mattress.

SkyBaby has been designed to make both baby and carer more comfortable during flights. The travel mattress can be used in conjunction with the plane’s loop belt, so baby is both comfortable and safe.

The other fantastic thing about SkyBaby is it’s really light and compact so it can easily be transported in carry-on bags. It’s suitable to use with children from newborn through to two years old, depending on the size of the child. It’s designed to sit on the carers’ lap, and provide security and comfort for the baby.

The SkyBaby has a thicker, padded pillow section, and wings which hug the baby. It’s fully washable and weighs less than half a kilo. Here’s a little more on how it works:

SkyBaby is available locally through Fishpond for $77. Take a look at our previous post on the Fly Babee for another clever product making plane travel easier with babies.
