With the gorgeous Disney film Frozen such a box office smash, it’s no surprise that many a child dreams of having a Frozen themed birthday party. For one little girl Jasmine, her seventh birthday was a blue hued dream come true.
Jasmine’s mum Angeline did what wise mums do and called the professionals for help two months before the party date. She also checked Pinterest and online party sites for inspiration and ideas. Faby says:
We decided on turquoise blue & white with silver and glitters for an icy frozen look. We used glitter cards and digital glitter papers to achieve this. We also bought glittery silver material from Spotlight for background, and glitter tulle rolls from eBay.
And glittery it is. Everywhere you look, there is something beautifully gilded in a glittery frost and swathed in shades of blue and white fabric. No detail went unnoticed at Jasmine’s party, with the invitation, sweet toppers, food table cards, chocolate bar wrappers, bottled water labels, favor jar labels, mini chalkboard sign and backdrop banner all created by Flair Enchanted.
Faby says her favorite party item was the invitation. She used glittery blue Christmas ornaments found on eBay to make keepsake invitations, with the party details and guests names attached with ribbons. I think you’ll agree that’s certainly one beautiful and eye catching invitation!
Jasmine’s stunning Frozen inspired cake is an artwork in itself and a cake so pretty, we’re sure it would have been on the receiving end of much admiration – and maybe a bit of do we or don’t we want to cut it discussion!
What’s a party without party food? Jasmine and her guests were treated to morsels of deliciousness from start to finish with blue macarons, blue jelly, and mini quiches among the festive fare. Mum Angelina was part of the catering crew, whipping up Oreo cake pops and even had Grandma making her yummy sausage rolls. Those gorgeous cupcakes you see here are simply the Coles brand red velvet cupcakes, then given a good tizzying up at home with sugar pearls and decorations to look fit for royalty.
Jasmine’s grandparent’s home was the chosen venue for such a gorgeous soiree, and though every detail had been checked off the list, the one thing that couldn’t be accurately predicted was the weather. What was to be a semi outdoor gathering, ended in lots of chasing paper napkins, paper plates and table cloths being constantly blown about – Angeline and Faby managed to keep everything in place for photos and with some last minute reshuffling, long enough for Jasmine and her party guests to party and chat with Queen Elsa herself who popped in for a visit!
